1.Introduction

EVISIONARY TECH WORKS PRIVATE LIMITED (EVIT) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This policy explains how copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property complaints are submitted and handled.

2.Scope

This policy covers intellectual property concerns relating to:

  • course content and curriculum;
  • student submissions and uploaded files;
  • images, videos, text, and code;
  • brand assets and trademarks;
  • community or project content, where enabled.

3.EVIT Intellectual Property

EVIT owns or licenses its brand name, logo, platform design, course materials, curriculum, videos, markdown content, assignments, certificates, and documentation. These may not be copied, redistributed, or reused without authorization, except as expressly permitted.

4.User Intellectual Property

Students retain rights to their original submissions unless otherwise agreed. EVIT may use submissions for review, grading, feedback, educational delivery, and security, and for limited showcase only with appropriate permission where applicable. See the Terms of Use for the license you grant.

5.Prohibited IP Misuse

You must not upload or distribute:

  • pirated materials;
  • stolen code;
  • unauthorized books or PDFs;
  • copyrighted videos you do not have rights to;
  • trademark-infringing assets;
  • another person’s assignments or projects presented as your own.

6.How to Submit an IP Complaint

To report content you believe infringes your rights, send a written notice including all of the following:

  • your full name (the complainant);
  • your organization, if applicable;
  • a contact email address;
  • a description of the copyrighted or trademarked work concerned;
  • the URL or location of the allegedly infringing content on EVIT;
  • a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is not authorized;
  • a statement that the information in your notice is accurate;
  • your physical or electronic signature (a typed name is acceptable);
  • proof of ownership or authorization to act on the rights holder’s behalf.

7.Where to Send Notices

Send complete notices to ip@evit.org.in. Incomplete notices may delay review.

8.Takedown Process

On receiving a valid notice, EVIT may:

  • review the notice for completeness and good faith;
  • remove or disable access to the reported content;
  • contact the uploader and provide an opportunity to respond;
  • preserve relevant logs and records;
  • reject incomplete, abusive, or bad-faith requests.

9.Counter-Notice / Dispute

If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice including:

  • your identity and contact details;
  • identification of the content that was removed;
  • the reason you dispute the removal;
  • an explanation of your ownership or license;
  • a good-faith statement that the dispute is made in good faith.

10.Repeat Infringer Policy

EVIT may suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights, at its discretion and consistent with applicable law.

11.False or Abusive Notices

Submitting knowingly false, misleading, or abusive infringement claims (or counter-notices) may result in account restrictions and may carry legal consequences for the sender.

12.Trademark Complaints

For brand or trademark concerns — such as misuse of the EVIT name or logo, or infringement of your registered mark — include your trademark registration details (or basis of rights), the mark concerned, and the specific location of the alleged misuse, and send it to ip@evit.org.in.
